Or maybe not. Either way, it’s always a good day when a bunch of spaceless song titles pop up in our inbox – it usually means a new Parcels LP has landed. Their latest album is LOVED, the group’s third studio full-length, and it’s every bit as Parcels-y as their 2018 self-titled debut or their immersive concept record DAY/NIGHT.

And by “Parcels-y,” we mean upbeat, snappy funk layered under dreamy harmonies that go down like fairy floss. The unified sound and sonic connection these guys have – which anyone who’s seen them live will attest to – is on full display across the record, made even more impressive by the fact it was sculpted all over the world.

Following a six-month hiatus in early 2023 – their first major break since forming in 2014 – they returned with individual tracks worked on from stations around the globe: Berlin, Byron Bay, Sydney, Oaxaca, and Mexico City.
