Natty Workwear’s Can’t Go Wrong 32-piece collection is durable on the job site and ready for the street.

We’ve all seen it happening over the past 12 or so months: fashion brands making their version of “workwear” that you know won’t ever go within 100 metres of an actual construction area. That’s cool and all, but doesn’t it make more sense for a brand that has durability (and credibility) at the heart of what they do to be offering these kinds of garments? Yes. You know it does.

Enter Natty Workwear.

For those of you who don’t know, this Aussie company are trailblazers in the trade world, basically pulling safety glasses into modern-day times with designs that don’t remind you of Year 7 woodwork, which brings us to Can’t Go Wrong

The collection features men’s, women’s and unisex fits, covering everything you need for the job site, including tees, shirts, shorts, pants, jackets, hoodies and headwear. First and foremost, it’s functional for whatever “work” means to you, with technical fabrics and utilitarian design at the core, and secondly, it simply looks rad.

Taking cues from heritage workwear (and now undeniably mainstream fashion) brands like Carhartt and Dickies, while sprinkling in some ’90s surfwear aesthetic, the range has a laid-back feel to it, while keeping things clean and minimal.

Standout pieces include the Depot Jacket, which is a tribute to vintage Eisenhower jackets, the Dusty Green Carpenter Pant, and the Can’t Go Wrong Tee, which features the old-school cartoon worker mascot.

“Finally the ‘workwear’ in Natty Workwear makes sense – the long term vision has arrived,” brand founder Trent Nattrass says. “We’ve been building towards this moment since we first started Natty and we’re stoked to be able to offer our engaged community, and newcomers to the brand, even more ways to look and feel good on site.”

Oh, and did we mention the most unique part of the whole drop? Each pair of Technical Shorts and Pants comes with the Natty Spork, designed for those days when you forget your cutlery while you’re on a job. Taking cues from surf brands and the wax combs that came attached to every pair of boardies you bought in the ’90s.

“As a carpenter of over fifteen years, I’ve seen work mates resort to using some pretty rogue items to eat their smoko when they’ve forgotten cutlery,” Trent says. “It’s a small inclusion but it’s meaningful – if you’re a tradie, you’ll get it.”

Natty Workwear’s Can’t Go Wrong collection is available on their website now. And go give them a follow on IG for the latest.
