The two aforementioned songs will form part of his Aerial Love EP, set to drop this Friday on March 13. “The EP is not a single plus three bonus tracks – it’s four songs designed to be heard as a complete piece of work,” he said.
‘Preach’ sees Johns continue to surprise us with his artistic eclecticism, with the track being produced by electronic duo Damn Moroda. It’s a wonderful vocal showcase, with Johns saying that he is “prouder of it than anything I’ve ever written.”
That’s certainly a statement seeing that he’s behind such masterpieces as ‘Freak’ and ‘Anthem For The Year 2000’ during his time in Silverchair. Have a listen below, and stay tuned for the EP to arrive in just a few days.
