As part of Pick Up, Kick Off, Ben Gerrans is taking over someone’s pre’s tomorrow night!

How does having Aussie-born, UK-based producer Ben Gerrans kick in your door and start DJing at your pre-drinks sound? Well, for one lucky person, that dream is about to become a reality, with Gerrans set to take over their pre’s tomorrow night thanks to Vodka Cruiser X.

After making serious moves in London’s underground scene and selling out shows across Australia and New Zealand, Gerrans is swapping the club for a considerably more intimate dancefloor, bringing the decks along to play a private set for the winner and up to 29 of their mates. Not a bad way to kick off a Friday night…

The whole thing is part of Vodka Cruiser X’s Pick Up, Kick Off campaign, which asked Aussies to do something that apparently terrifies a whole lot of Gen Z: answer a call from an unknown number. Entrants had to convince Gerrans why their pre’s deserved the takeover, with the winner getting a call from the man himself – from a hidden number, naturally.

“I am such a phone call guy. I hate getting sent to voicemail. Why does no one pick up the phone anymore?! I absolutely love what Vodka Cruiser and I are mixing up here. I’m so ready to bring my decks to someone’s pre’s and test out the new tunes I’m releasing next month. All you have to do is convince me yours is the one. And please, just answer the phone,” Gerrans said.

As for what’s fuelling the pre’s, Vodka Cruiser X is the brand’s 10% ABV RTD, coming in Grape and Blueberry flavours and available in four-packs of 200ml cans at participating retailers around Australia.
