Our mate Jules Sarantis made the journey to Brissy for the Socceroos vs Brazil game, and the energy was (clearly) electric.

Sure, it wasn’t the result we wanted, with Brazil eventually running out 4-2 winners, but the signs of progress against one of the best teams in the world give us nothing but optimism moving forward. The Socceroos fought back from an early goal to take a 2-1 lead through Alessandro Circati and Connor Metcalfe, before Brazil’s ridiculous firepower eventually took over.

But enough about the scoreline. Jules brought her film camera along for the ride, capturing the colour, chaos and emotion in the stands and on the pitch — from Aussie fans going ballistic to the travelling Brazilian contingent bringing a little slice of South America to Suncorp Stadium.
