Volcom Women’s took over Finnians in Port Macquarie on Saturday for a huge night of female-led art, music, and mayhem.

How much good stuff can you bundle up and cram into one night? Turns out, quite a bit… There was barely time to catch our breath on Saturday in Port Macquarie, with Volcom spotlighting all the amazing female talent within their surf, art and music ecosystem, creating a hub for conversation and a little bit of chaos.

The walls were adorned with mind-expanding pieces from Cedar Leigh, Ellie Ryan, Fumika Saito, Lucy Juhnke and Studio Kitchi, with Volcom team rider and creative powerhouse Jaleesa Vincent also showcasing her work. Eyes were also treated to a viewing of Jaleesa’s mini-doc Strange But Not A Stranger and a special premiere of Bodhi Leigh-Jones’ brand new film, R&D.

Then to the music… Local multi-instrumentalist MIKK opened up some portals early on before Cupid & The Stupids got the crowd boogieing along to their taptastic garage doo-woppery. Beers were raised and lyrics were shouted as Adelaide punk duo Teenage Joans delivered a belting set, with their performance of new tune ‘Coming Up From Hell’ easily one of the highlights of the year!

Plus, we also got a sneak peek at the new Jaleesa Vincent x Volcom capsule that’s on its way soon – stay tuned… Check out all the highlights in the gallery above:
