Sometimes you’ve just gotta let it all out on a sweaty dance floor, ya know? A bit of a reset of the soul and mind induced by getting bangers smashed into your ears for a few hours, and last night was exactly that kind of night, with Yolanda Be Cool and Sounds Good DJs providing the juice.
Things kicked off on the Felons Manly Jetty, where Sounds Good selectors MC Double D and Jamo Willow got everyone moving as the sun went down. From there, it was over to the Barrel Room, where Yolanda Be Cool took things up a notch with a hefty serving of house, global grooves and the kind of tunes that make leaving the dance floor feel like a terrible idea.
A pretty bloody good way to round out another huge weekend of Surf & Sound, if you ask us. We’re going to need a little recovery time after this one…
