There’s been a lot of rumours about the reformation of N.W.A ahead of their biopic Straight Outta Compton, but hype levels have reached an all-time high with news that the West Coast pioneers may reform for a tour. Also, they may be joined by Dr. Dre’s most successful protege: Eminem.

While the group briefly banded together for a rendition of ‘Fuck Tha Police’ at The BET Experience, Universal chief Donna Langley has suggested that a European tour is on the cards in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Equally as excitingly, the piece states that Eminem may be slotted to perform alongside the group as an ‘honourary member’ – having worked on the Straight Outta Compton soundtrack.

“We don’t have anything settled yet with everyone’s schedules. But we think it can create a lot of buzz,” she says.

However, it seems as though all parties haven’t been informed of the plans – with N.W.A member MC Ren seemingly clueless about the whole ordeal. “I don’t have knowledge of any tour to all those asking. Still tripping how they erase me out of the NWA history BUT what can I say,” he wrote on Twitter.

We still don’t know what being an ‘honourary member’ entails, but if this actually happens, prepare for the entire Internet to explode.
