Kim Kardashian is not stranger to breaking the Internet, but today she temporarily shut down Apple’s entire App store due to the insanely high demand for ‘Kimoji’.
As you might have guessed, ‘Kimoji’ gives you over 250 Kim-themed emojis, including her famous bathroom selfie, ugly crying face, a royal Kardashian finger flipping the bird and lots of butts. Yep, you can now text curvaceous butts to all of your mates on iMessage, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger with the App, which costs $1.99 for a lifetime of entertainment on your iPhone. After all, what can $1.99 get you nowadays? Probably just a cheeseburger and 1-2 sections on the L94 bus.
With the release of the App, it seems like the hype is very, very real – it’s already shot to Number. 1 on the App charts and also temporarily shut down the App store. According to The Mirror, there are reports that at one point there were 9000 people downloading the App each second.
Kim has now taken to Twitter to assure fans that technical issues have been resolved:
