Yesterday, it was revealed that rock legend David Bowie had passed away from cancer, just days after his 69th birthday and the release of his album Blackstar.

Now, Sydney Festival has announced a free tribute night to celebrate the bold and bright life of Bowie, with a lineup of DJs playing music from his illustrious catalogue that spans six decades. Fans have been encouraged to “don your best Ziggy Stardust attire and get ready to dance and sing along as our DJ line-up pay tribute to the incandescent Starman.”

The details for the event can be seen below. Sydneysiders, head down with your facepaint and have one final dance to farewell the legend.
