Dreams to come true: An album leak suggests that Rihanna has covered Tame Impala’s track ‘New Person, Same Old Mistakes’ on her eighth full-length.

RiRi is gearing up for the release of ANTI, which is expected to drop sometime this week – and this morning we heard a fresh single in ‘Work‘, a Caribbean-tinged track featuring a guest verse from Drake. What’s more surprising is Rihanna’s track ‘Same Ol’ Mistakes’, which according to Pitchfork, is a cover of Tame Impala’s Currents track of a similar name.

Fans were accidentally treated to a snippet of the track when ANTI leaked on Tidal, and one eager punter quickly shot a side-by-side comparison between the two tracks to show their similarities. Just when you thought that Tame Impala couldn’t get any bigger – scoring two entries in the Top 5 of the Hottest 100 earlier this week – something like this just takes it to the next level.
