The World Surf League kicks off today on the Gold Coast with the Quiksilver Pro and the Roxy Pro being hosted at Australia’s favourite reeling right-hander, snapper Rocks. It’s also a fitting place to announce Corona has come on board as Official Beer of the WSL.

To kick things off, Corona have the up the Corona Extra Shaping Bay at Snapper Rocks and have invited three of Australia’s top shapers, Neal Purchase Jr, Eden Saul from Dead Kooks and Joel Fitzgerald, to come hand shape boards onsite at the event. Not only will you get a chance to hang out with the lads and watch them burn through some foam, but you’ll also have the chance at winning one of eleven hand shaped boards.
