The first one is pretty self-explanatory. Saturday Night Live’s Pharoah has been tearing apart Kim and Kanye for the past couple years, and his impersonations of Jay-Z and Drake are tighter than Kim’s forehead. More often than not he gets to do it in the safety of NBC’s 30 Rock studios in NYC, but last night he up and drilled Kardashian and co to their faces. And by the look on Kim’s face in the next clip – if you even notice it, and you’ll know what we mean – she is 110 per cent confused.
Pharoah in general is one hilarious dude, and looks sets to follow in the footsteps of Eddie Murphy, Will Ferrell, Andy Samberg and the like as a break-out SNL personality. His impersonations are next level and one look at YouTube brings up a heap of his best work and a few Above Average video clips – ala Lonely Island.

And then there’s BoJack Horseman, the 1990s-esque cartoon sitcom about a horse who raises three human children. It’s Netflix’s first ever original adult cartoon and like House of Cards or Orange is the New Black, it’s most certainly worth watching. And if you loved 1990s sitcoms like Full House, Home Improvement and Family Matters you’ll like it all the more.
For those of you who didn’t get in to those shows fear not, because BoJack features some of the behemoths of modern television. Playing the the sharp-tongued, unapologetic, narcissistic BoJack is none other than Arrested Development alumni Will Arnett. While his human housemate is played by executive producer and Breaking Bad star Aaron “Pinkman” Paul.
It’s offensive, it’s in-your-face (not unlike Terry Richards’ tripod) and it’s a spot-on satire of the entertainment industry and celebrities as we know them. Don’t have Netflix? We understand there are ways to obtain the shows, apparently. For one, check out www.netflixaustralianow.com.au And to whet your appetite, here’s a preview of some classic BoJack.
