They boys stating that they “tried home brewing, tasted like piss… tried buying beer at the pub, too expensive.” So they collaborated with Inner-West legends Young Henry’s on the aptly-named bevvies Pils ‘N’ Thrills.
The enterprise is based on a Czech pilsner that will bring about a “compact malt bill with a surprisingly hoppy palm to the nose”, as stated by Young Henrys co-founder Oscar McMahon. Giving themselves the title of top beers executives, Shane Parsons and Simon Ridley say that there are “no gimmicks here, mate; it’s brewed to be enjoyed fast, fun and loud”.
DZ Deathrays will launch the beer at the The Blurst Of Times festival in Brisbane this weekend Saturday 16th, with the lads pouring Pils ‘N’ Thrills personally from 5 to 6pm in the beer garden.
