Strawberry Fields will be making its glorious return in 2016 on the banks of the Murray River from November 17th to the 20th, with four gigantic and mind-altering days of bliss.
To mark seven years since the festival was born, Strawberry Fields is upgrading to a four-day event. “Patrons can now arrive from Thursday for access to the best campsites, enjoy a day of wild river swimming, and a live reggae party to kick off the magical weekend ahead,” they say.
Punters have also been given a special ‘aftermovie’ exhibiting exactly what the festival is all about using footage from 2015, with clips from music to installations, friends camping and boogieing, and the 100% guaranteed mad times that this event curates. So far there is no mention of what the acts will play, but we have been told it will be “another diverse and carefully created line-up, staged in a sensory wonderland featuring world class decor, eclectic market stalls, art installations, live performance, workshops and more.” So really, we all know it’s going to be pretty mint.
