Kanye West has become known for his extensive spoken word segments during his live show, and now he’s brought an unprecedented level of banter to daytime television with an expletive-heavy, eight-minute monologue on Ellen DeGeneres.

West touched on race, fashion, bullying and technology in this epic speech, also jumping out of his chair and breaking out into semi-song for a few seconds. While he seems to lose the plot a few times throughout the ordeal, most of what he’s saying actually makes a lot of sense. Daytime television certainly hasn’t seen this level of conversation and this amount of swear words in awhile, but then again, West is no stranger to breaking the rules.

Of course, he concludes the whole thing with another classic Kanye quotable: “I’m sorry daytime television. I’m sorry for the realness.”
