Eminem has delivered a lot of quotables over illustrious his two-decade career.

From the pensively poignant to the downright psychotic, Eminem’s lyrics have captured imaginations with brute force, yet few bars have become as iconic as one phrase he spat on his testosterone-fuelled adrenaline anthem, ‘Lose Yourself’. Taken from 2002 film 8 Mile – just one rap movie which didn’t turn to complete shit – Slim had everybody referencing ‘Mom’s spaghetti’ from the track’s opening verse. In fact, it became such a viral sensation that Eminem even sold ‘Mom’s spaghetti’ shirts this Mother’s Day. The Internet is a strange a wonderful place, isn’t it?

Now, one deadset fuckin’ legend named Nathan Wyburn has taken ‘Mom’s spaghetti’ to a whole new level by painting a portrait of Eminem using tinned pasta and budget tomato sauce in true 8 Mile style. If my assumptions are correct, the spaghetti brand in question is Heinz. Luckily, a timelapse has captured the making of this modern day Mona Lisa in a 40 second video, set against a soothing piano backdrop. It’s calming, serene and an undisputed masterpiece. Funnily enough, this is the best thing related to Eminem we’ve seen or heard in over a decade.

Let’s all take a minute to sit back, watch real #art in action and give Mr Wyburn the eternal standing ovation he deserves. After that, watch the video to ‘Lose Yourself’, get caught in the emotion of it all and headbutt a window:
