This morning, we’re absolutely chuffed to be premiering ‘Pull It Together’, the brand spankin’ new video from Sydney’s own Wild Honey.

With their single ‘Eye To Eye‘ earning high rotation on Triple J throughout 2015, Wild Honey have an EP under their belts as well as a headline tour and support slots with the likes of Twin Peaks, Hinds and The Delta Riggs. Now on the verge of embarking on yet another trek along the East Coast, the band have dropped another video for their effortlessly infectious single ‘Pull It Together’. Wild Honey’s sound reflects their origins on the Northern Beaches: It’s laid-back rock laced with pop melodies and a carefree attitude that’ll make you wanna quit your job on the spot. Arriving in the middle of winter, the track acts serves as blissful escapism into your favourite summer vacation spot.

The video for ‘Pull It Together’ sees the band embrace blue-collar Australiana with long working days, slabs of cold beer and an slow-motion orange-eating class that would make Hans Moleman jealous. Given that the long-haired lads often look like they’ve been dressed by the best vintage store in town, it’s no surprise that the video also arrives with a throwback feel that aligns with their tastefully rustic sound.

Still, the single reflects the growth and evolution of the band. “As Wild Honey grew in numbers, we had more voices and parts to work with, so the songs really evolved. We recorded ‘Pull It Together’ as live as we could, playing as we would at any gig, only retracing our steps to track our backing vocals together,” singer Thom More explains.

Throughout July, the band will be on tour once more – kicking it off in Newcastle and trekking through all major stops before wrapping things up on the Sunshine Coast. Watch the video for ‘Pull It Together’ below, where you’ll also find all of their incoming dates. Boom:
