Red Bull have never done things by halves, but they’ve really upped their game with the diverse range of activities they’ll be bringing to Sydney from September 8th to September 11th. Taking over venues from the floating wonder Seadeck to the legendary Marrickville Bowling Club, this is a weekend that embraces electronica and the underground with a jam-packed schedule.
A few months ago it was announced that Flight Facilities would be taking over The Domain with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, but that was just the tip of the iceberg: Ta-ku will be making his directorial debut with (m)edian, which sees the Perth beat-maker construct his view of Sydney in a cinematic setting. The legendary Stones Throw stable will be taking over Manning Bar with a throwback set from the founder himself, Peanut Butter Wolf. House legend Larry Heard will be playing his first Australian show ever. Locals including Cliques, Low Ton and Kllo seal the line-up with homegrown flavour. From in-depth talks to techno raves, this is going to be absolutely huge.
