It all started on the early hours of Tuesday morning, when police were called to Brown’s residence after local woman Baylee Curran said that Brown had pulled a gun on her after a dispute that took place before she left the home. According to 9News, she said “It was really not a party, no it was indeed not a party. It was Chris himself, and then a couple of his buddies there. Mainly it was a business meeting, a go-see for music videos.”
“So I came in from the backyard and there was a man showcasing the jewellery and that’s when I was admiring one piece, it was a diamond cross necklace. That’s when Chris’ friend, or I don’t know who he was to Chris, noticed that I was looking at it and warned me to step away, ‘don’t touch the diamonds, get the fuck outside.’ That’s when Chris pulled a gun and said, ‘get the fuck out. Like, I’ve had enough of you girls, haven’t I told you girls enough’,” she continued.
Brown initially refused to leave his residence, instead posting a series of videos to Instagram where he referred to the police as ‘the worst gang in the world.’
“When you get the warrant for whatever you need to do, you’re going walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing, you idiots,” he said. “When I call the police for stalker people that are endangering my life, they don’t come until the next day. Then somebody make a fucked up allegation about me, and oh yeah the whole fucking SWAT team.”
According to ABC Online, Lieutenant Chris Ramirez of the Los Angeles Police Department later confirmed in a press conference that Brown would be arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. We’ll have to wait and see how this one pans out, but given his tumultuous track record, it’s not looking good for the notorious R&B crooner.
Here’s what he had to say:
