After countless rumours and one fake poster floating around the Internet earlier this week, FOMO Festival has revealed its sophomore lineup and it’s an absolute belter.

Since debuting in Brisbane earlier this year, FOMO Festival is returning next year to kick off 2017 with a serious bang – expanding to the additional cities of Sydney and Adelaide. Headlining the whole affair is Flosstradamus, the Chicago duo largely responsible for bringing trap music to dance arenas with their slew of pulsating remixes and collaborations with the likes of Waka Flocka Flame. Local legends Empire Of The Sun will be returning for their first Australian performances since 2014 off the back of their album Two Vines. UK grime mainstay JME will be spitting in the footsteps of his brother Skepta touring later this month, while party-starters Peking Duk will also be present.

And straight out of left-field, Southern rap producer Metro Boomin has also been billed. Fucking huge! Having produced for ATL heavyweights like Gucci Mane, Future, Young Thug and Migos, Metro Boomin has been omnipresent at clubs across the world and also holds the gold medal for the best audio watermark in recent memory. Just some of his biggest hits that come to mind are ‘Father Stretch My Hands Pt.1’ by Kanye West, ‘Low Life’ by Future & The Weeknd, ‘Tuesday’ by ILoveMakonnen, ‘Jumpman’ by Drake & Future and more. We’re expecting big things and lots of ignorant yelling in this set.
