Pamela Anderson forged her career as a sex symbol on Baywatch and appeared in Playboy no less than 14 times throughout her career, so some may be surprised that she’s taken to the Wall Street Journal to pen a passionate essay on why you should quit porn. Written in collaboration with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, the piece titled Take the Pledge: No More Indulging Porn says that “this is a public hazard of unprecedented seriousness given how freely available, anonymously accessible and easily disseminated pornography is nowadays.” They further state that it has a “corrosive effect on a man’s soul and on his ability to function as husband, and, by extension, as father.” For more reasons as to why “porn is for losers,” you can read their entire piece right here.
Is it even a festival in 2016 if it doesn’t have a lineup leak with an accompanying fake poster? The Laneway lineup is set to drop soon on September 14, but this image began circulating over the weekend proposing some tasty acts heading our way for the 2017 festival – including Desiigner, Bon Iver and the previously-announced Nao. While it might initially look accurate, it was later revealed by Music Feeds that the poster was created by a Twitter user guessing the lineup in return for VIP tickets from Laneway. Still, we wouldn’t be surprised if some of these acts sit on the bill when it’s revealed in just over a week.
It’s been awhile since Nicki Minaj’s last album The Pinkprint, but she revisits the title with a vicious new freestyle that’s just dropped on Soundcloud. Among the bold claims are Minaj’s assertion that she’s the female Jay Z, but the line that has everyone talking is an ode to the recently slain gorilla, Harambe. We don’t know how or why Harambe has become the world’s hottest meme, but the YMCMB rapper adds to the wave by stating “I’m dragging these hoes likes Harambe did the kid.” Lord have mercy. She finishes it off by referencing M.I.A’s infectious 2007 hit ‘Paper Planes’ – listen to the banger above.

Yeezy’s 350 Boost sneaker has caused numerous meltdowns during its previous releases, which means that you should probably start queuing up now for the upcoming colourways that have just been previewed on Kim Kardashian’s Snapchat story. The new iterations of the 350 feature text stitched into the upper, arriving in black, beige and a zebra-esque pattern. Kim also previewed merchandise bearing the word ‘Calabasas’ – which first appeared on a vague billboard hinting at a joint album between Kanye and Drake. It seems like that album is coming closer to fruition, and you’d better prepare for the world to stop when it drops.
