Here’s one way to wake yourself up on a Tuesday morning: Blast DZ Deathrays’ new belter ‘Polyanna’ at full volume.

‘Polyanna’ sees DZ Deathrays invite you to a riff party with unlimited groove, getting your earholes warmed up with another sample of their forthcoming third album. The track was premiered last night via Triple J, it’s just as heavy as it is catchy – and is gonna start absolute chaos when they play it live at their freshly announced headline tour. Kicking off in December and delivering a bunch of matinee and 18+ shows across the country, it marks DZ Deathrays’ biggest tour to date – and will serve as a welcome home for the band after they take over the Americas with Dune Rats on the International Disaster tour.

Of course, this all goes down before DZ Deathrays play a headline set at Sounds Of The Suburbs in Cronulla this weekend – so head along and see the band in ferocious form on Sunday. ‘Pollyanna’ should do all the convincing for you:
