We’d been hearing whispers for a few days about a special show that our favourite froth slingers Young Henrys had in store for us SWXSW Sydney attendees. And naturally, when word got out that it was Aus rock royalty Bad//Dreems, we knew we had to do anything we could to get in the door at Hotel Hollywood.
Defying the rain, the band took to the rooftop stage – which in all honesty we didn’t even know existed – and belted out tunes from their latest HOO HA! all the way back to their groundbreaking debut Dogs At Bay. The packed crowd, armed with various Young Henrys tinnies (and maybe even a communal whisky bottle), soaked it up like a thirsty sponge.
