That’s because Big Pineapple Festival landed with full force on Saturday, bringing some of the country’s favourite local acts to a five-stage affair in the small Queensland town. Dune Rats, The Preatures and Violent Soho took care of the guitar-heavy end of the spectrum, while the likes of Hayden James, Allday and Illy added their touches to a swell day in the Sunshine.
