Made In America is just one of the great things that Jay Z has gifted to the world, alongside The Blueprint, Blue Ivy Carter and more memorable singles than we can count. Back in 2012, he founded the festival with an emphasis on diverse acts, and the festival has delivered every year since – Public Enemy, Nine Inch Nails, HAIM, Kanye West & Grimes are just some of the acts that have graced its stages.
This year, we headed to Philadelphia and shot our favourites including Action Bronson, Earl Sweatshirt, Lolawolf and yes, The Weeknd along with his phenomenal haircut. American festivals definitely have a different vibe to those here in Australia, and this gallery has us itching to go back so that we can listen to some tunes, eat a hot dog and a pound a few Budweisers. Salute to The King of Beers.
We’ll also leave you with this super cute footage of Jay Z singing along to Beyonce in the crowd which has single-handedly restored out faith in the concept of true love.
