1)THE LONG WEEKEND
Café del Mar kicked off Sun Sets over the long weekend, when Sydney was truly in party mode with no regard for Monday morning’s usual responsibilities. The kick-on is very real and lovely at Sun Sets, because everybody loves a good Sunday session – and with festivities starting from midday, you can head straight there for a beverage after brunch. Weekend warriors will be pleased that the party wraps up at 10:00pm.
2)THE UNBEATABLE LOCATION
Sun Sets has a literally unbeatable location, overlooking Darling Harbour and our Instagram-friendly bridge. When sunset arrives, make sure you take a flick with your significant other and then turn it into a postcard. It’s moments like these that remind us that despite the lockout laws and ridiculously expensive parking and even worse rental prices, Sydney really is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
3)THE DJ LINEUP REFLECTING THE CROWD
Sun Sets have a crowd that’s a little older, and their DJ lineups reflect that – in the coming weeks, they have local OGs like Murat Kilic, Preacha and Mo’Funk taking over the decks, spinning house and electronica with an emphasis on groove.
4)DRINKS FLOWING UNAPOLOOGETICALLY
Belvedere and Moet seems to be the drinks of choice at Sun Sets, and there are absolutely no complaints on our end. Splash out and get yourself something nice this Sunday.
5) IT’S HERE TO STAY
Sun Sets will be stretching all the way until May 2016 – so you have plenty of opportunities to experience one of Sydney’s best venues throughout summer. Check out photos from the opening weekend above, and see all the Sun Sets events and details here.
