It’s no secret that CCRC is the best place to be when the world’s greatest descend on Melbourne for the Open, and Sunday evening’s event was a shining example of why they’re the best to do it.

The festivities kicked off in grand style with the CCRC hosting an electrifying opening night launch party to set the tone for the days ahead.

The decks were graced by the melodic beats of Melbourne duo Gaz Kempster and Andy Murphy, also known as Nite Theory. The duo’s tunes reverberated through the air, creating a vibrant ambiance and preparing the crowd for an exciting fortnight of tennis action.

Naturally, we kept our hands busy with ice-cold Canadian Clubs as we experienced everything that CCRC had to offer including a few rounds at the Padel Court and watching the matches on the legendary hill.

The Canadian Club Racquet Club will be open daily from 12pm to 9pm until the 28th – don’t miss it! Oh, and peep the gallery above and video below for all of the highlights:
