Following a year of travelling Europe and shooting for the likes of Mall Grab, Skrillex, Skepta and more, Sydney photographer Capture Charles returned to where it all began, Club 77, last night for his debut exhibition. Adorning the hallowed club’s walls with his many shots from his Europe exploits along with his shots from the likes of Australia’s Lost Paradise, Pitch Music & Arts and more, the exhibition served as a snapshot of his whirlwind journey over the last couple of years.
Add the fact that there was a special installation by visual artist, Janush, along with sets from local DJs Ben Fester and Mimi Jann, and you’d be justified in calling it a total celebration of the talent in the local scene. Check it out via the gallery above:
