Party & Bullshit

Day Two of Changing Tides Festival in Kiama was another hit after an already impressive opening. The crowd was buzzing, the sun was shining, and the music kept getting better.

Once again the sun was shining as we returned for a second round of Changing Tides Festival, having had a bloody ripper day one (gallery here). Having shaken off the Saturday hangover, we were absolutely ready to roll…

Mallrat lived up to the hype, with her dreamy pop and rap, capturing the crowd’s attention with ‘Groceries’ and ‘Your Love’. Blu DeTiger brought funky basslines and high energy that got everyone moving. South Summit kept the vibe going with their indie-rock anthems, while Annie Hamilton offered a soulful, stripped-back performance. But the real surprise came from Peking Duk, who lit up the stage with their non-stop party anthems like ‘High’ and ‘Stranger’.

Ruel delivered an emotional performance, his flawless vocals and connection with the crowd making ‘Growing Up Is _____’ the highlight of the set. Check out the gallery above for some tasty snaps:
