Childe Eyewear is migrating.

Having established themselves as the rock and roll meets surf eyewear of choice for thousands of young Aussies, and being built on the basis of supporting musicians and protecting the environment, Childe quickly rose the ranks over the past few years from their Byron Bay headquarters. Now, they’re shifting operations to Bondi, which is about all the excuse we need for a party.

Last night they brought together Bondi’s finest at the Diggers & Golf Club, with DJ sets from Elliott & Mont (The Delta Riggs), Dante Knows, Will Hope soundtracking the brand’s end-of-year celebration and official welcome to Sydney.

The night also marked the launch of two new Childe designs by Jon Laurenson: the CYBER, a sharp titanium unisex frame with a futuristic architectural edge, and the PALOMA, a slim modern oval built for effortless, everyday style. Consider them a statement of intent as Childe settles into its new Bondi home.
