The long wait is over. As of today, the iconic yellow building on the corner of Gold Coast Highway and Armrick Avenue in Broadbeach has been revived, marking the grand opening of Costa Taco’s newest and largest location. After lying dormant for nearly five years, this once-forgotten spot is now the bustling heart of a new culinary destination.
Costa Taco, already a favourite in Palm Beach and Byron Bay, has officially made its mark on Broadbeach. Brothers Matt and Nick Stanley, the masterminds behind this Mexican food sensation, have brought their passion for genuine, unaltered Mexican flavors to the Gold Coast once again.
The menu is a celebration of Mexican street food, with tacos featuring Sinaloa Chicken, Beef Birria, and crispy ‘Baja Style’ fish. Diners can also enjoy Ceviche Tostadas and Elote Street Corn, but it’s the quesabirria tacos—a mouthwatering combination of cheese and traditional birria stew—that have already started drawing in crowds.
