Coming in hot after their full capacity launch, Brown Sugar truly lit up the night in style for Valentines day last night, presenting Cupid’s Chokehold at Suey Sins in Sydney. Described as ‘A Valentines day party with a twist’, the night certainly lived up to the name, and love was definitely in the air.
With the help of North Beaches natives Persian Rug gracing the decks, resident Brown Sugar Dj’s HighBeam and Swazzii helped turn up the df the only way they could. With some gorgeous love ballads and beautiful house sprinkled in between, punters were able to send it in the best way possible, and find that special person for Valentines day.
An event that was definitely one to remember (we’re still having a bit of trouble remembering though tbh), it’s clear Brown Sugar can’t put on a bad event, and you can bet you’ll catch us at their next one.
