The grime don, Dizzee Rascal has just returned to Australia for a whirlwind tour, stopping over in Sydney for a mammoth sold-out show.

With homegrown talent Baker Boy (who also supported 50 Cent earlier this month, huge!) getting a healthy buzz during his opening slot, it was time for the UK veteran to deliver his much-needed return to Australian stages, and deliver he did. What ensued was a electric set that stretched well over 30 tracks, from his groundbreaking Boy In Da Corner debut, to crossover singles like ‘Holiday,’ and efforts from his more recent Raskit.

Looking at the influence of underground UK sounds on a global level in 2018, it’s impossible to ignore the influence that Dizzee Rascal’s had since the turn of the millennium. On this night, we got to witness his expansive career onstage and condensed – and it was a night to remember:
