Don West blew the roof off Sydney’s Lansdowne Hotel last week, the Northern Beaches muso giving a showcase in funk, soul and showmanship. Playing to a packed out crowd hanging off his every word, the muso had attendees in the palm of his throughout the show’s duration, rewarding them with a slew of classic originals like ‘Money’ and ‘Pink To Blue’ while giving them an insight into some catchy unreleased tunes. It was definitely another reminder of the magic of the Lansdowne when filled with a roaring crowd and stellar live act, and luckily Sydney photographer Angus Bell Young was there to capture all the action.
