Last night, Sessions Surf Festival took over Miami Marketta as the first event of their huge week of music, art, film and surf on the Goldy. And we’ve gotta say, they curated a delightful lineup of local artists that we’ve heard on countless surf soundtracks over the years.
Headlining the night was the formidable Dope Lemon, fronted by Angus Stone and featuring his ragtag crew of musical warriors, who blasted through tracks like ‘Marinade’ and ‘Rose Pink Cadillac’ as the audience crooned along with him. Babe Rainbow took us on a ’70s groove journey, while Mt Warning, Makua, Laurel Hill and Ella Fence serenaded the packed room with effortless cool.
It’s gonna be hard to top that for Sessions Festival over the week, but if there’s one thing we’ve learned from this crew, it’s that they always deliver. Check out the full roster of events below and stay tuned for more from LWA and Sessions Surf Festival. Full gallery above!
