This time, we headed up to Byron Bay with a couple of our best mates and the Carlton Dry crew. On site was the Carlton Dry Hotel – a two-story party hub where you could chill out, take a seat and sip on the endless supply of cold brews. It was a fantasy land of sorts with a bath tub filled with Mentos, bubble fountains and horse heads dancing the night away, while notable names in the house included Tori Levett, Olive Cooke, Emily Gurr, Mitch Crews, Jono Friend and more.
Offering a welcome break from the other stages of Falls Festival, the Carlton Dry Hotel still got the party started for three days straight. Highlights included the NYE countdown where some snagged a special midnight kiss, as well as surprise performances from some of Australian dance’s most exciting acts, Elk Road and our fellow Northern Beaches boy LDRU.
