Having just played one of the biggest shows of their career at the Ampitheatre at Splendour In The Grass, Gang of Youths took a complete 180 turn for an extremely intimate performance in Sydney over the weekend. With their debut album The Positions earning five ARIA nominations, the band have started a solid track record – and look to continue the winning streak with their new EP Let Me Be Clear.
The six-track effort continues their brutally honest and cathartic brand of rock, and the most dedicated fans who pre-ordered the release were treated to an acoustic show. Gang of Youths’ songs hit even harder in an environment like this, and judging from the response to this EP, their sophomore album is going to be something special.
