Horrorween, Australia’s premier Halloween extravaganza, returned for its second year over the weekend, captivating attendees with a spine-tingling experience. The event expanded into a full-weekend activation, featuring electrifying performances by local and international queer talent, including Canada’s Drag Race star Brooke Lynn Hytes and RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under season 2 runner-ups Kween Kong and Hannah Conda. The Hordern Pavilion was transformed into a nightmarish labyrinth, with two indoor and outdoor dance floors, drag queens, roving performers, and a spine-chilling Scare Zone for the fearless.
The festivities extended beyond the main event, with exclusive pre-parties at the Oxford House and official after-parties at Universal and HOME in Darling Harbour. Horrorween founder Jesse Lawson promised a bigger and better event this year, and attendees were left breathless and spellbound by the killer queens, wicked thrills, and dark delights that filled the sinister soirée. Australia’s premier Halloween party delivered an unforgettable weekend of spooky fun, reinforcing its status as a must-attend event for years to come.
