Sydney producer/DJ James Pepper’s first hometown show following several weeks in Europe was well worth the wait last night, the ‘For All My Wrongs’ producer bringing his signature blend of house and techno to Eora dance hub, Flinders Hotel. Locked and loaded for a four hour set and backed by local deckslingers Mash, Cee Vee and Slim Caity, the vibes were high and dancefloor was rammed by the time the Eora mainstay took to the decks.
Playing a collection of original works as well as some of the biggest tracks of the moment such as Ned Bennett’s ‘Freestyle’, Naka’s ‘That’s It’ and more, Peppers selections had punters throwing down hard and fast as the various Flinders Hotel platforms were filled to the brim with dancers locked into his beat into the early hours of the morning.
