The brainchild of photographer Dean Bell and creative director Annika Hein, their inaugural issue in 2016 featured contributors from all over the world in a mammoth 320-page edition – a clear indication of their desire to create something more permanent in a landscape that’s becoming a revolving door of disposable art.
“We wanted to slow things down and make something that people would want to keep. Our aim was to create a publication that brought life and appreciation back into slower processes. To reintroduce the market to tangible elements of art, art they could lose themselves in and consume slowly and indulgently,” they said.
