Sydney-Psych wizards Kimono Drag Queens brought the fire to the hallowed Oxford Art Factory over the weekend, channelling their archaic energy into an intimate seated show that was equal parts grounding and transportive. Jamming out various cuts from their debut album Songs of Worship, the Drag Queens had the crowd in the palm of their many hands, punters losing themselves to the swirling layers of psychedelic sorcery and bountiful musicianship that the seven-piece have become renowned for. A night that will not be forgotten any time soon, we’re counting our lucky stars we were there to witness the groove shamans live.
