Sibling duo Lastlings took to Sydney’s Metro Theatre for the latest stop of their Aussie tour last night, bringing along with them a treasure trove of hits from their new album, Perfect World. Supported by the ever-captivating Forest Claudette, who serenaded the crowd with enough R&B and neo-soul bops to get knees buckling and eyes watering, the stage was perfectly set for the ‘Out My Head’ singers by the time they stepped on stage.
And they were well worth the wait, thundering into the venue with a magnetic stage presence that enhanced attendees into a total state. Performing bops from their new album like ‘Holding Me Like Water’, ‘Perfect World’, ‘Noise’ and more, along with classics like ‘Deja Vu’, the purveyors of dance and euphoria made their way through their discography with ease, with punters’ enthusiasm growing with each and every rendition.
