Nothing says Pride Month like tequila on a Wednesday arvo…

Mexico’s Baja Peninsula found its way to Sydney’s Bar Patrón yesterday arvo, the renowned CBD restaurant being transformed for a special Pride lunch. Titled ‘Los Cabos for Everyone’, the event was attended by some of the finest of Sydney’s media and socialites, with the likes of Thomas Malucelli and Jed McIntosh, Sean Miley Moore, Mia Healy and more all showing face for the special lunch. In addition to a bottomless drag lunch and special music performances, guests were treated to a 5-course gustation paired with Patrón cocktails and tequila. Needless to say, too much fun was had on a Wednesday arvo.

And it was all for an important cause, with the lunch serving as the launch of a special competition that will give one lucky Aussie and their amigo the chance to win a luxury trip to Los Cabos, Mexico. Valued at over $11,000, the prize includes 2 flights to Los Cabos, a $500 Patrón Tequila pack, 5-nights at Marquis Los Cabos, an all-inclusive Luxury Resort & Spa named one of Travel and Leisure’s top hotels in Mexico.

It sounds like heaven on earth if there ever was such a thing, and considering that Los Cabos has become one of the world’s finest luxury destinations for LGBTQI+ travellers, it couldn’t be more fitting for Pride Month.
