Party & Bullshit 4w

The return to poolside debauchery was in full swing last night at Marco Polo, the much-loved Sydney rooftop party kicking off the Summer ’22 season with total madness…

Music-wise the Marco Polo crew more than met the high expectations, Melbourne producer Running Touch, yours truly as a part of Life Without Andy Djs, Squeef for Girls On Deck, Banquet DJs, Penny Mac, Ryan Marshall and more stepping up to the plate for a plethora of house, disco and everything in between. Naturally, punters pushed past the early arvo drizzle and found their way to the dance floor and surrounding bars, drinks flowing by the dozens as everyone made up for the lost time of the past couple of months.

And of course local legends Banquet made their debut as hosts for the ’22 season, serving up a feel-good 1pm set, plenty of colour, disco balls and balloons as they turned the Marco Polo abode into a disco daydream, one that attendees were evidently happy to lose themselves to as they danced the night away.

If you’re getting a bit of FOMO just thinking about it all, you’ll be able to catch the full Banquet experience every week at Marco Polo for the rest of the season, which we highly recommend. For now, peep all the action via the gallery above, and get keen for the return to dance.
