No stages, nao barriers, no security – there’s few things we love more than a good old fashioned house show, and Oaks’ latest show out in Doonside provided all of the above, and more.

Supporting their freshly-released EP in rustic style, Oaks took to a backyard to celebrate with their fans, joined by interstate guests Hindsight and Harbours. Despite their being no stage, there were some elevated stage dives – off the backyard shed – making for a mental, intimate show in the suburbs.
