In case you missed it on socials, Aussie skater Hayley Wilson has dropped a new board with the legendary Real Skateboards. This one is a little different to your regular pro model, with Hayley and Real donating proceeds from the board to suicide-focused mental health initiative In Pieces; a movement that is close to Hayley’s heart and of which she is an ambassador.
Last night, a mixed bag of skaters,In Pieces community and friends came together at Ravesis in Sydney to celebrate the launch of the deck. The room was buzzing with conversations and connectivity – a key tenant of the In Pieces philosophy – as we got an up-close look at the board, which is adorned with crumbling puzzle pieces from an angel figure and a quote from Hayley herself.

The event is one of a series of incoming activations and projects from In Pieces, with the In Pieces Together film, which follows Blakey Johnston’s record-breaking surf landing on Foxtel, Binge, Kayo on May 13th, with screenings happening around the country in the lead-up.
