Local crew SETTINGS˚ have been earning a pretty fierce reputation for their semi-regular events around Sydney, blending hip-hop, electronica and fashion into a cohesive melting pot. Their latest jam took things to the next level at Civic Underground, with their first international headliner in Noodles, the touring DJ for R&B queen Kehlani. She was joined by the in-house SETTINGS˚ selectors plus Ella Maximillion and Esar, as well as a short live cameo from Manu Crooks to perform ‘Assumptions.’
All night long, all four sides of the DJ decks were surrounded by a heaving crowds, forming a 360˚ dancefloor that refused to let up as the party kicked on well past lockout. There were plenty spilt drinks and sore heads the next morning, and we can’t wait until the next SETTINGS˚ soiree. In the meantime, relive the debauchery:
