As we approach summer, it’s pretty much essential to have some open, breathable footwear for the beach, the corner store and everywhere in between.

That’s where UK footwear brand Slydes comes into play, announcing their Australian arrival with a joint party alongside Platypus. The two took over seaside bar, The Bucket List in Bondi to provide some beverages, some fairy floss, plenty of inflatables and a look at Slydes current range of (you guessed it) slides.

Tunes were provided all day by Yemisul, who was kind enough to drop a Craig David banger or two for our earholes. Take a look at the party above, and grab yourself a pair of Slydes to wear all summer long:
