Southern Comfort brought a little slice of New Orleans to Sydney over the weekend, with Southern Sounds taking over COMMUNE.

It was a two-stage celebration of hip-hop, bounce and R&B; with local talents Milan Ring, Kaiit and REMI headlining with a full band, and Cakes Da Killa making the trip to Australia for the event. Outside, club veterans including Levins, Jimmy Sing, Larrie and Dezzy D spun the best tunes from the South, while a third room served up all bites and Southern Comfort beverages to celebrate the spirit of New Orleans.
